Derby Day in Cape Town

Networks do matter.

How Christel House aims to tackle the cycle of inequality through enduring relationships

We all know that nobody can make it alone. Beyond skills and personalities, networks truly matter to open doors and offer opportunities that can change lives.

While too often such opportunities are inaccessible to youth at the low end of the spectrum, Christel House is partnering with three more schools in Cape Town to establish meaningful regular exchanges between South African youth who attend privileged and underprivileged schools.

A solution to develop more equal relationships, based on knowledge and trust.

Derby Day was the first of these initiatives. See in this video how the event unfolded and learn more about the project  here.
