We know that the best answers often come from those closest to the problem. This collaboration marks a significant step towards addressing wealth inequality. People who through upward social mobility share with us the story of the journey they have taken.
Our vodcast-series "Innovadores Invisibles, voices of progress" is a collaboration created by Balloon Latam and The Wealth Inequality Initiative by Julius Baer Foundation.
Innovadores Invisibles features inspirational stories, people who built impactful solutions that changed their lives. These person-to person interviews will be conducted by Balloon's founder, Sebastian Salinas, who will drive us to the rural areas of Chile in pursuit of these wonderful change makers.
You will hear voices like the one of Brisa Stempelet, a woman with a passion for mechanics who has defied stereotypes by working on heavy machinery in a machine shop operated exclusively by women. She trained with Derco, acquiring new skills and partnering with other women in a co-working environment. Her story is an inspiring example that transcends her family, demonstrating that there are no limits or stigmas for women in this field. Brisa stands out as a role model who has broken barriers and stereotypes in the mechanical world.
