Equality Talk 3 - Africa Edition

Empowerment through sustainable housing with TAWAH

EqualityTalks

Our most recent Equality Talks - Africa Edition, featuring Victoria Marwa Heilman, CEO of TAWAH (Tanzanian Women Architects for Humanity), was held on July 11th.

The discussion delved into the powerful combination of women's empowerment and sustainable housing. Victoria painted a compelling picture of women's impact on Tanzania's economic growth and how TAWAH is harnessing this potential to elevate women's presence in the construction sector.

Given that 51% of Tanzania's population is female, TAWAH saw an opportunity to empower women in rural areas who have no access to formal education and trained then in basic construction skills.

If you missed the live event, you can watch the insightful conversation in the video on this page.
