Miracle Oil

Jojoba Namibia turns women farmers into international entrepreneurs

Namibian Jojoba grows under extreme conditions. Its oil is sought-after in the cosmetics industry, and it is praised for its high quality due to the unique mineral content of the Namib desert soil.

Thanks to its extraordinary properties and the commitment of Namib Desert Jojoba Oil Producers (NDJ), jojoba is enabling marginalised communities and individuals to become independent farmers, and eventually skill up to become entrepreneurs and suppliers for the international cosmetic industry.

Enjoy this video to meet the women and men who are shaping a more equal, cohesive and prosperous community in Namibia and click here to learn more about the project.
